Lindner Letterscope
Watermark detector for covers, cards and stamps.
The Lindner Letterscope will reveal watermarks and embossing on envelopes, cards and stamps quite easily. Damage, repair and thinness will soon be noticed.
When the light falls from the top through the viewing area you will see a light watermark on a dark background. If you place the light at the open end nearest the viewing area you will se a dark watermark on a light background. A candle light gives excellent results.
